My Traditional Pages

September 23, 2014

I have a new love for traditional scrapbooking ever since seeing all the gorgeous pages on instagram and pinterest. It is so much fun and you get to be so creative. So as I promised, here are some of my pages.

I apologize for the the bad lighting in some of the pictures. I'm unable to take proper pictures since I'm still recovering from back surgery.

This page is from when I was about 3 or so. We lived in an apartment which had a little porch with netting. My favorite thing to do was paint. I spent so much time out there and I don't think I'll ever forget it.

I'm hoping to get some Mister Huey's spray so I can add a little more color to the page and so it isn't so blank. Overall, I'm really happy with this page.

Materials used: Amy Tangerine 8.5x11 paper (found in Michael's), Studio Calico Printshop, Fairy Leaves & Extra Small Hexagon (printable papers)

This picture is from a family/friend beach day in Florida. I was maybe 10 or 11. We all used to have so much fun at the beach and it was really close so we went a lot. The beach was actually right across the street from my school so on special occasions we would go there for recess. It was great.

Materials used: Studio Calico Printshop"We are made of stories" stamp. Whatever is Lovely - unknown (got in a trade).

Right now, my supplies is quite limited but I'm going to start a subscription with Gossamer Blue which I'm extremely excited about! I hope you like these pages and can be inspired by them. Thanks!

  1. You're a natural! These are great!

  2. Soooo gorgeous! I love the idea of using the misters for the first page- that's my favorite page, but I think a little splash of color on all that light would jazz it up even more! You Myrtle Beach page is just lovely. Totally frame worthy.

    I love your style!

    1. Thank you! :) I hate that they are $5 each but I think Tuesday Morning has them for less. Have you done any traditional pages like this?
