Letter Album

April 27, 2015

Last year for my birthday, my mom gave me letters that she had written through the years. Since then, almost a year ago, they have been sitting in a drawer but I wanted to do more with them. I decided to make a mini-album of sorts.

This is a great project if you have lots of letters from a loved one or even letters from pen pals! They always seem to get tucked away somewhere, why not create something with them?

Week Fourteen

April 26, 2015

Week fourteen..I'm so glad this spread is finished! It was all down to the last two cards and I just couldn't figure out what to use. I don't think it has ever taken me this long to finish a spread but I think it was worth it.

Even though I didn't have a lot going on that week, I made sure to take photos around the house, which I think I will be doing more.

Letter It April | Catchup

As you may have seen in a previous post, I'm doing #LetterItApril and I decided to do 3-4 quotes at a time to help myself not get behind. But, that doesn't mean I haven't gotten behind on posting them! I am also about a week behind but it won't take me long to catch up.

I really love this challenge and I feel that it has really helped me find my style.

Life Lately

April 21, 2015

The past couple of weeks have been difficult. Since getting back from Baltimore, I've been extremely tired and the new medications are giving me some pretty bad side effects.
I've also been seeing so many doctors since I got back. The day we flew home, I saw my nephrologist and my cortisol level was low, so tomorrow, I'm going to get a test to see if I have Addison's disease. Thankfully, it can be controlled with cortisol supplements and if needed, some steroids.

"Shake It Off" Print Freebie

April 17, 2015

Hello everyone! Today I have a freebie for you! I created a "Shake It Off" print to sell on Etsy, but it got removed because of all that Taylor Swift trademark stuff. Anyway, I decided to recreate it since the original isn't quite my style anymore.

The print is available in 8.5x11 and 8x10 in both portrait and landscape. I hope you enjoy!

My Appointment With Dr. Francomano

April 16, 2015

For those of you who don't know, I have a rare genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). This condition causes defective connective tissue which is basically the glue within your body. Many people experience hypermobile joints, painful joints, stretchy and soft skin, scarring problems and many other symptoms. Dr. Francomano is one of the top doctors for this condition and people travel from all over to see her. It takes over a year to get an appointment with her. On Tuesday, I had my appointment with her and I wanted to share it with you.

Week Thirteen

April 11, 2015

I've been focusing on lettering and the #myselfiescrapbook a lot lately which has gotten me a couple of weeks behind on PL, but, I finally got back to it and finished week thirteen.

New Prints

April 10, 2015

The past couple of weeks or so, I have mainly been focusing on lettering, which I'm sure you've noticed if you follow me on instagram. I have definitely seen an improvement and I've also noticed my own style coming out the more I practice and even though finding my style has taken a while to develop, it was definitely worth it.

There are three new prints available in my shop which I am extremely proud of. These are quite different from the other prints in my shop but they are definitely my favorites. They are available as 8.5x11 physical or digital prints.

I decided to do #letteritapril this month which is created by @jennymaiedae on instagram.
As you can see, it's a daily lettering challenge but I will be doing it a little differently.
