<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
Hello everyone! I am here to talk to you about an amazing service called <a href="https://www.paperlesspost.com/" rel="nofollow">Paperless Post</a>*</div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<a href="https://www.paperlesspost.com/" rel="nofollow">Paperless Post</a> allows you to send e-cards for all occasions as well as invitations. You can pick from many, many beautiful designs and customize the inside. </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
They have so many amazing designers available like Rifle Paper Co, Red Cap Cards, Kate Spade, Hannah Bergman, and so many more. They have cards for birthdays, thank you, just because, wedding and baby shower invites and a few other events. </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Once you pick a card or invitation, you are able to customize it. For some designs, you are able to customize the front, mostly with invitations but some cards have this feature as well. Most of the cards are customized “inside” where you can write a message to the recipient. Many of them also come with an envelope that has a customizable liner where you are able to choose from many different designs from floral, to confetti, to stripes.</span></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
Now that I’ve told you about <a href="https://www.paperlesspost.com/" rel=”nofollow”>Paperless Post</a>, let’s go onto my experience. </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
The app and website are very well made and it’s easy to find your way around. On the main page, there are different categories of cards but you can also search by artist or topic. Every part of this experience was very visually appealing and easy to understand. </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
For my first card, I decided to send a birthday card to my mom. She got it right away and loved it. I also love that you get a copy of the card so you can see how the final result they way the recipient does. This is the card I sent, I just love it! <a href="http://bit.ly/2F0GNHN">http://bit.ly/2F0GNHN</a></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
I think this is a especially a great way to send gorgeous cards to friends or family who may live in another country! Most of my family lives in Scotland so sending a card can take quite a while and if you are sending a lot, it can be quite expensive. </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
Overall, I highly recommend <a href="https://www.paperlesspost.com/" rel="nofollow"> Paperless Post</a>! The other e-card companies I’ve tried are filled with cards that aren’t nice looking and it takes so long to find one you like. With <a href="https://www.paperlesspost.com/" rel="nofollow">Paperless Post</a>, it’s the opposite. It takes forever to pick from all of the beautiful cards! </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
If you try this service, please let me know! I’d love to hear your experience! </div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
Talk soon!</div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #454545; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleBody; font-size: 17px; text-decoration: -webkit-letterpress;">
<br /></div>

Well during my last phone consult with my amazing EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) doctor, who is also the top EDS doctor in the country, s</span></span><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">he suggested I see a vascular neurosurgeon, Dr. Kenneth Liu in Virginia.</span></div>

<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Since he is in Virginia and I'm in North Carolina, that means we will have to stay overnight and we will also be having to get a rental card because the car that could get there isn't quite big enough for everything. Of course, the cost can add up quite quickly so I've decide to do a <b>fundraiser</b>! I did one last year and it was incredibly helpful and I was overwhelmed by how kind you all were to take part, so I knew this was what I needed to do again. </span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="background-color: rgba(255 , 255 , 255 , 0); color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Also, depending on what he finds, I may have to return later for a surgery which of course means a longer stay. But, if this is the problem and the </span></span><span style="color: #222222; font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">surgery fixed it, that would mean I could come off some medication that have some nasty side effects!</span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Just like last year, I will be selling shirts through Bonfire (they have rebranded from Bonfire Funds) and my goal is to sell 50 shirts! With all of my amazing friends, family and of course my amazingly supportive followers, I definitely believe we can achieve that! I've decided to go with the "when all else fails, take a nap" quote, because lets be real, I think <i>everyone </i>can relate to that! </span></span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I will be starting the fundraiser <span class="aBn" data-term="goog_708682659" style="border-bottom-color: rgb(204, 204, 204); border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; position: relative; top: -2px; z-index: 0;" tabindex="0"><span class="aQJ" style="position: relative; top: 2px; z-index: -1;">on <b>Friday, January 27th</b>,</span></span> and I believe it goes on for 2 weeks so I would be incredibly grateful if you would share it with your fiends, even if you are unable to buy a shirt!</span></span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);"><span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: "helvetica neue" , "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><span style="color: #222222;">I know that most people don't understand a lot of the medical talk but are still always very supportive and I just want to thank you all for that! <3</span></span></div>

<span style="color: #1d2129; font-family: "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">Since today's blog hop is all about sequins, I really wanted to let them shine, so I created a shaker scrapbook page! I love creating shaker cards and thought it would be a lot of fun to do for a scrapbook. </span></span></span><br />
<span style="color: #1d2129; font-family: "georgia" , serif;"><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;"><br /></span></span></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7PtGbf_VfNQP7obcaHesLhkMOsnmkDyjdcZSc7bOQUWYBfFFlShh0S3Sr0_bOxl27e-y_TaKUVSgh-2cPol91OZISXD6WfoVq6-OzQIgCPLoDnyVIiRJtqGoxFoHQv_YMBpkt4KNjG1ch/s1600/imperfect1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7PtGbf_VfNQP7obcaHesLhkMOsnmkDyjdcZSc7bOQUWYBfFFlShh0S3Sr0_bOxl27e-y_TaKUVSgh-2cPol91OZISXD6WfoVq6-OzQIgCPLoDnyVIiRJtqGoxFoHQv_YMBpkt4KNjG1ch/s640/imperfect1.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I created this heart cut file in the Procreate app and then transferred it into my silhouette software and cut it out. It was definitely tedious to get the foam behind the thin lines of the hearts but it was worth it! I love how this turned out!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNg7XsvmSS-04l5V1M79qLpBxPhCsqtXkhSy75OhyphenhyphenXmVitsXVGF04OpMj9EYvY08-umVqLWKD325XRBDqJwSxGF7fLMrWHJmtCfW5jsvRe50uXZo364qsH4fI3NWqjzmu-9lwDOjczhchx/s1600/imperfect2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNg7XsvmSS-04l5V1M79qLpBxPhCsqtXkhSy75OhyphenhyphenXmVitsXVGF04OpMj9EYvY08-umVqLWKD325XRBDqJwSxGF7fLMrWHJmtCfW5jsvRe50uXZo364qsH4fI3NWqjzmu-9lwDOjczhchx/s640/imperfect2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To let the sequins really be the star of the show, I keep embellishments simple, as well as the title. A thin wood veneer and stamp, in my opinion, were the perfect title for this page. I love the "perfectly imperfect" stamp.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOSZ037KMdGV9IEdjik5q5szOPNRMmLjMGriQ6rRglURCnEDztPs6GFaLGnTvje2D9lh2NpdjFxJMQW0sfElHPnK7XAzTOMOTVWB0p9o1z6xUZjw89pJHx4LU_0FfaxTN_qYPEuSMIQUrF/s1600/imperfect3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOSZ037KMdGV9IEdjik5q5szOPNRMmLjMGriQ6rRglURCnEDztPs6GFaLGnTvje2D9lh2NpdjFxJMQW0sfElHPnK7XAzTOMOTVWB0p9o1z6xUZjw89pJHx4LU_0FfaxTN_qYPEuSMIQUrF/s640/imperfect3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Since the page was very center focused, I added a small piece of washi tape and chipboard sticker to add a little something extra to the page.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDv1fWAbEOSzb6Qd5L7GZ-qT3HvSsUPWLNJodo7Jxkb338RhljmlfN9HWYDqsN2XUgvmX0QT4KYF_XPHhwrdqFwK3RBloPNsoBg3K-g8ZsHYW4SB6Me1Xdm7EYWHfJ8g54nNEUKii-CUxF/s1600/imperfect4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDv1fWAbEOSzb6Qd5L7GZ-qT3HvSsUPWLNJodo7Jxkb338RhljmlfN9HWYDqsN2XUgvmX0QT4KYF_XPHhwrdqFwK3RBloPNsoBg3K-g8ZsHYW4SB6Me1Xdm7EYWHfJ8g54nNEUKii-CUxF/s640/imperfect4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In these last two photos, you can really see how gorgeous these sequins are! I love the colors and while I used three different packs, they all work together so well! I'm not going to lie, it was hard to use so many sequins on one page since I am a sequin hoarder, but I think the end product made it worth it. I couldn't be happier with this page!</div>

I have quite a few scrapbook/Project Life pages that have never made it to my blog whether it may have been because they were posted on another blog or just because I never got around to photographing them, so I have decided to create a series on my blog called Flashback Friday. Every other Friday, I will be sharing a project that I made a while ago that I've never posted on my blog. I am very excited to share these projects with you!<br />
<br />
For my first Flashback Friday, I will be sharing this scrapbook page which was actually the first time I did mixed media. I remember not really liking it when I first created it but now, I love it!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOYYPBBxVU6pFTRJ1GTfKbsh9sPWAjj7Uu4tAOk7n15Pvl8hh4e7IECLRwPH0vdcifU4ecfyaqfFjlV422xqjktx-05PzsLh-Kuki0y8KFis-jFHWpm7muqJTC6lRmW6LLXcIO9gp-v91K/s1600/letsgo1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOYYPBBxVU6pFTRJ1GTfKbsh9sPWAjj7Uu4tAOk7n15Pvl8hh4e7IECLRwPH0vdcifU4ecfyaqfFjlV422xqjktx-05PzsLh-Kuki0y8KFis-jFHWpm7muqJTC6lRmW6LLXcIO9gp-v91K/s640/letsgo1.jpg" width="510" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The photo is from when I was in Charleston, August last year, and this was the view from the pier. It was a gorgeous pier with beautiful views of the water! I have great memories on this pier and so many wonderful photos, especially at sun set.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCoIVJz1xfi2GtYeuQ8DQyvHXZ5QgHB4gdmaevsDKNWuq0kjt0ca3KQxMtDGnIBYFANZhIRkVx6nhyphenhyphen7lD3NAdmlZFmzcDzCG_Zss079Jduv2dfeW2OU4rQjI-6pMh9MJTTVizW17g74I4t/s1600/letsgo2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCoIVJz1xfi2GtYeuQ8DQyvHXZ5QgHB4gdmaevsDKNWuq0kjt0ca3KQxMtDGnIBYFANZhIRkVx6nhyphenhyphen7lD3NAdmlZFmzcDzCG_Zss079Jduv2dfeW2OU4rQjI-6pMh9MJTTVizW17g74I4t/s640/letsgo2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Puffy stickers are probably my second favorite embellishments and this "let's go" cloud just fit so well with the photo! Of course I had to add some enamel dots for some interest and this was my first time using glitter enamel dots and I really love how they look on this page. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmluzwCXJPXxzFpo7KkaMiq3naH7IHGdPF4OIWOz5Kbe9o7QOCGsChuXsxBWgA22M6B-RSM48xoXNLLBRyWqrelkZ-S870Uf2GH14yDK6flvsJ9AWLw9fGFs3H5H2gluqpBYRMek9YiF9q/s1600/letsgo3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhmluzwCXJPXxzFpo7KkaMiq3naH7IHGdPF4OIWOz5Kbe9o7QOCGsChuXsxBWgA22M6B-RSM48xoXNLLBRyWqrelkZ-S870Uf2GH14yDK6flvsJ9AWLw9fGFs3H5H2gluqpBYRMek9YiF9q/s640/letsgo3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My number one favorite embellishments are flairs. They are just so gorgeous and add great dimension to everything.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I don't often use frames but I do like how this frame worked with the photo. The text on the frame didn't really go with the photo so I decided covered it up with a wood veneer star and I love how it looks. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdSg60sgYDya3u4EAHMSdBdDjoK8k_VlPkkXTx1pHtdf7y4hC45xuX8n4aUPEdIB33MaxbeHTGKHDCdP-ruShdpPNcHMAo3qrprHo4n3f7KAxlIIHk3GD5mZ9mXjt7qYkvDf9eJCubGIkQ/s1600/letsgo5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdSg60sgYDya3u4EAHMSdBdDjoK8k_VlPkkXTx1pHtdf7y4hC45xuX8n4aUPEdIB33MaxbeHTGKHDCdP-ruShdpPNcHMAo3qrprHo4n3f7KAxlIIHk3GD5mZ9mXjt7qYkvDf9eJCubGIkQ/s640/letsgo5.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here you can see some of that watercoloring I did as well as splatters. I wasn't quite sure what I was doing but I think it actually turned out quite nicely!<br />
<br />
That is all for my first Flashback Friday! I hope you liked it and I can't wait to share more projects with you in the future!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04276944349653961610noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5988803162190971622.post-34862925507675731322016-07-26T10:25:00.000-07:002016-07-26T10:25:11.433-07:00Saying Goodbye To GusToday's scrapbook page is one with a lot of meaning. On the 16th, we had to put our cat, Gus, down which was very hard. He was 16 years old and had only recently gotten sick. He had diabetes but earlier this month he started having a lot of trouble breathing, so the vet treated him for an upper respiratory infection but it only got worse. When they did X-Rays they saw that his heart was enlarged and he had fluid in his lungs. At that point, we knew the right thing to do was to put him down.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXvg6P6Ne7EiC1BoO3NynYvV99sC0LPb9J4Qvk2OiBQ1dUUKR4Ay9OGv3EJftbSJxdLR59-Juyk56mrDazemaq7_fM-8IeTBb7oiiGeVxNSvS921YysJayTQjblkrtSjkSg6VfNgBqTxD8/s1600/gus1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXvg6P6Ne7EiC1BoO3NynYvV99sC0LPb9J4Qvk2OiBQ1dUUKR4Ay9OGv3EJftbSJxdLR59-Juyk56mrDazemaq7_fM-8IeTBb7oiiGeVxNSvS921YysJayTQjblkrtSjkSg6VfNgBqTxD8/s640/gus1.jpg" width="488" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This page came together pretty quickly and I love how it turned out. Instead of this going in an album, it'll be going in a frame and in my craft room. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We got Gus when I was 4 and this is the first time I've had to put down a pet, and I must say, it is not easy. He could be pretty annoying when he wanted food and to be pet but I love him so much and I wish I could hear that cry again. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhonhstUpB8ln1Ax3Ph6lxGjWgvW7HqiXrszeBL7kATycAHj-JlFukKpPHNScN0k8UmpfscNqoTYOWvQsg-YbehkzuXTvgJPyLe9R8FNAxjacQM7ldNjrzSSEFfTmAwVRE92xO6pXnFgTJ4/s1600/gus2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhonhstUpB8ln1Ax3Ph6lxGjWgvW7HqiXrszeBL7kATycAHj-JlFukKpPHNScN0k8UmpfscNqoTYOWvQsg-YbehkzuXTvgJPyLe9R8FNAxjacQM7ldNjrzSSEFfTmAwVRE92xO6pXnFgTJ4/s640/gus2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have you ever been looking for a stamp or embellishment and come across one that is just perfect for your page? Well this is what happened when I found this stamp set. I was just looking through some of my stamps when I came across a Gossamer Blue stamp set with this quote, which I feel is perfect for this situation. Gus never got on with Clara, our dog, so I like to think that he is somewhere he feels free of her as well as somewhere he can breath freely. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAP9xEUuGQWepqQyx1EalXVW8MJzhGjfUNUtQfq4wer12MQuNYEeB8Pw8PJTB2-hrWGc_xMFOsFOqTqkAPTFQjg5EuojztqrCvt8iRXG-G9rIMdiouIgoFXGbPNhaV0UgQK2W_I6hwne0n/s1600/gus3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAP9xEUuGQWepqQyx1EalXVW8MJzhGjfUNUtQfq4wer12MQuNYEeB8Pw8PJTB2-hrWGc_xMFOsFOqTqkAPTFQjg5EuojztqrCvt8iRXG-G9rIMdiouIgoFXGbPNhaV0UgQK2W_I6hwne0n/s640/gus3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Of course I had to add a few hearts to this page. The flair and the label, as well as the paper I used are by Felicity Jane and the heart stamp is from a Gossamer Blue stamp set. The florals and the tag are part of Maggie Holmes' Bloom collection, one of my favorite collections to date. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRfB6tVb_0CArEflvGj3HQLA-Z9PUUuHfwENYu4ePw-8Kvitq2RojKIcsnJ9pNSn3L-b-4rizUTOdgywABJO6Cf8bLcC7Yb1xSDRjYHT1SFDV64UuUkWYFKAQIxffKO-81gtCori5nXLbN/s1600/gus4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRfB6tVb_0CArEflvGj3HQLA-Z9PUUuHfwENYu4ePw-8Kvitq2RojKIcsnJ9pNSn3L-b-4rizUTOdgywABJO6Cf8bLcC7Yb1xSDRjYHT1SFDV64UuUkWYFKAQIxffKO-81gtCori5nXLbN/s640/gus4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love all of the colors in this page and I can't wait to display it in my craft room. I was worried about making a scrapbook page to document Gus because I wanted it to be very nice, and I think I accomplished that. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Hey everyone, I'm so sorry for being so absent on my blog. My health has kind of been all over the place but I think things are finally looking up. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So today I am sharing two 12x12 scrapbook pages I've created. Usually when I create traditional pages, they are 8.5x11 or 9x12 so doing this size was a little intimidating but I love how both of these pages turned out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGZnQ75ZzjClrj5mYwkeedsNrFX0sqi2Joy2K4ZtaqG7l12tCxjvjmEwTUl9dQsLoloun2pdLZ58z7Cb8aAngZGOtrIUYNAhcgXHUtrnMG0-reEoW6z8xGVs2wrWXOYem_I_VBFVd6N0sW/s1600/hellosooky1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="634" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGZnQ75ZzjClrj5mYwkeedsNrFX0sqi2Joy2K4ZtaqG7l12tCxjvjmEwTUl9dQsLoloun2pdLZ58z7Cb8aAngZGOtrIUYNAhcgXHUtrnMG0-reEoW6z8xGVs2wrWXOYem_I_VBFVd6N0sW/s640/hellosooky1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This scrapbook page was created for a challenge by Felicity Jane on National Scrapbook Day and I love it! I do feel like I could have added some more embellishments but apart form that, I love everything. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9tZpSA_QrPyZ_0pImgxDDyoNX4I21VG6oLNnpTXXQZ_palsTTyQx91_tUzMozRIUumTyMLbi91KNym_mIW4Mb7CEHulP6G1RHQG8wKp2e-kNxqfiyFidvdFm7KRsO6K2B6sfEfgu0Uysa/s1600/hellosooky2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9tZpSA_QrPyZ_0pImgxDDyoNX4I21VG6oLNnpTXXQZ_palsTTyQx91_tUzMozRIUumTyMLbi91KNym_mIW4Mb7CEHulP6G1RHQG8wKp2e-kNxqfiyFidvdFm7KRsO6K2B6sfEfgu0Uysa/s640/hellosooky2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The tag that is sticking out has some journaling on it. Hidden journaling is definitely my favorite because I'm not the biggest fan of my handwriting. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
When going through embellishments, I found enamel dots that had the perfect colors for this layout and I think they look great in this little cluster. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMyVpfr4vGmayU9y0tIOezr-QGJIqkOIbnRJ2ZMoi0fRYX2bHoY9tcuSQDGBprLKbMUiwhh-FgSl6XBZ05Csony4k-QjxVcK-KJuO3ScUrq4sIPCvMvRhZViHLul2zXUr2EN_pDNWjgc8I/s1600/hellosooky3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMyVpfr4vGmayU9y0tIOezr-QGJIqkOIbnRJ2ZMoi0fRYX2bHoY9tcuSQDGBprLKbMUiwhh-FgSl6XBZ05Csony4k-QjxVcK-KJuO3ScUrq4sIPCvMvRhZViHLul2zXUr2EN_pDNWjgc8I/s640/hellosooky3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
At the bottom of the page, I used a Felicity Jane stamp as well as some more hexagon cut outs and enamel dots. I think it filled in that blank space nicely. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqTih3tAl_VBXi6BHBlQ9wmTIRsrWxowZJ5JyVjeJWZi9Q380wGEkYfMFkLfMHswunMNtn68fg37HC3Du5g3Yds6Chu6eNHI0l40cM07ik56Zl5xo40h4tTvap0-liLYZVpfvFA3mHsR05/s1600/smile%2526laugh1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="636" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqTih3tAl_VBXi6BHBlQ9wmTIRsrWxowZJ5JyVjeJWZi9Q380wGEkYfMFkLfMHswunMNtn68fg37HC3Du5g3Yds6Chu6eNHI0l40cM07ik56Zl5xo40h4tTvap0-liLYZVpfvFA3mHsR05/s640/smile%2526laugh1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This scrapbook page is probably my favorite one I've created. I love the bright colors and florals, it all just screams "Alex". This photo is from 2014 when I had a photoshoot done by Flashes Of Hope. They do free photoshoots for chronically and terminally ill children and young adults. I had also gotten a photoshoot by them the year before. They are amazing and make you feel so comfortable.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8wx2-ynG_c7fkCy_C-yGtKvWg_5VS69eGr-kP4tAxgO2HIUY0G0_CfM_WPTui8aT6vWGn9TZqdfSTEbtCg903V_V49LcrIlvk-_chRGVAG2XHlRbjlAQFLU18i8_jDEr2XpyUkIUEHqi7/s1600/smile%2526laugh2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8wx2-ynG_c7fkCy_C-yGtKvWg_5VS69eGr-kP4tAxgO2HIUY0G0_CfM_WPTui8aT6vWGn9TZqdfSTEbtCg903V_V49LcrIlvk-_chRGVAG2XHlRbjlAQFLU18i8_jDEr2XpyUkIUEHqi7/s640/smile%2526laugh2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here is a little close up and you can see some of the smaller details. I love the title "smile & laugh" and although that wasn't what I intended to title this page, it just came together so well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
All of the papers I used are by Felicity Jane and most of the embellishments are by Crate Paper, another one of my favorite brands! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
On the bottom left of this layout, I used some washi tape from my stash and layered a little tag which came from a cut-apart sheet from Felicity Jane. The stamped phrase is also from a Felicity Jane stamp set.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I added some more floral pieces at the top as well as some "+" signs from a Crate Paper sticker set. The colors matched this layout so well and just added a little more interest to the page.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That is all for my 12x12 scrapbook pages and I hope you enjoyed them! I will be posting more often now that I am feeling more like myself. I can't wait to share some more projects!</div>

I'm sure you have all noticed how absent I've been on my blog and how I haven't been posting much on Instagram. I thought it would be a good idea to give you all an update.<br />

<br />
Some of you might remember that I had Tethered Cord surgery in August and sadly, it has returned again. The past week has been extremely hard and my symptoms have suddenly gotten a lot worse, but I'm not sure why. We are currently trying to find a neurosurgeon closer to us so we won't have to stay in a hotel before and after the surgery, like we did in Charleston. I wanted to wait at least until August to get the surgery again but I know I can't wait that long.<br />
<br />
Due to the pain and other symptoms of Tethered Cord, I haven't been feeling very creative and lately when I do try and scrapbook, I get exhausted after doing only a little bit.<br />
My autoimmune disease seems to be flaring up as well and we are waiting on some blood work to see if I can go up on Methotrexate, the chemo drug I am on. Hopefully if the blood work is okay and I up my dose, some symptoms will start to improve.<br />
<br />
It has definitely been a rough couple of months and I'm sure the next couple won't be any easier but I always try to stay positive and continue to be grateful for what I do have. I will be starting a fundraiser soon for the surgery and I will keep you posted on that over on my instagram account, <a href="http://instagram.com/alexhunterdesigns" target="_blank">@alexhunterdesigns</a>.<br />
<br />
Thank you for taking the time to read this.<br />

Today is reveal day over at Gossamer Blue and the April kits are amazing! I have a few projects to share with you and I hope you like them!<br />
<br />
First, I have this project life spread. I am using 9x12 pages which I created using design A page protectors and my fuse tool.<br />
<br />
I really love the colors in this spread and I actually used a mix of past kits as well as the April Life Pages kit. The embellishments this month were absolutely stunning! Here, you can see 3 stickers from the Maggie Holmes Bloom 6x12 Puffy Stickers which was included in the <a href="http://www.gossamerblue.com/product/april-2016-main-add-on-kit/" target="_blank">Main Add-on kit</a>. This was by far my favorite kit!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiON5ttKfe0NrU3xRfTNCZLozbVVN8liLCz7jcKeEjo5L8sTUKyLCnELTrD9_4v1fMkqV7D86dW8RGft3SdS5oaTC771HAsUD_sbD2hy8Rpr8hNJPK01DIa1Tu5-eA-jGoA6PTRb8mfczZZ/s1600/PLmarch.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="430" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiON5ttKfe0NrU3xRfTNCZLozbVVN8liLCz7jcKeEjo5L8sTUKyLCnELTrD9_4v1fMkqV7D86dW8RGft3SdS5oaTC771HAsUD_sbD2hy8Rpr8hNJPK01DIa1Tu5-eA-jGoA6PTRb8mfczZZ/s640/PLmarch.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The stamp sets were also stunning, not much of a surprise there. ;) The stamp sets area always my favorite parts of the kits! The designs are so simple and can be used for anything. I love that they aren't themed like some other subscription kits out there. They are also great quality and you will always get great results.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGhcpLlf-gv-MuG_NbV9ZmAd6hMLURIV64BhlnW_RrN3fISQgpNxwXo3hXWv5ihiLFZ5yLR5eAHdOCdf3Pj9VJqZIOLg2X3nDvnwgfRHYfr5Ibir2DZ0B_HKO9Je-IKn6Gc6sHN4uFOWm2/s1600/PLmarch2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGhcpLlf-gv-MuG_NbV9ZmAd6hMLURIV64BhlnW_RrN3fISQgpNxwXo3hXWv5ihiLFZ5yLR5eAHdOCdf3Pj9VJqZIOLg2X3nDvnwgfRHYfr5Ibir2DZ0B_HKO9Je-IKn6Gc6sHN4uFOWm2/s640/PLmarch2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For my other projects, I created a couple of cards! They were super easy and were put together so quickly, but they still look gorgeous.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This first card is just so cute, if I may say so myself. The plants are from a pack of die cuts by Pebbles which is included in the <a href="http://www.gossamerblue.com/product/april-2016-main-kit/" target="_blank">Main kit</a>. The "bloom" is from the Maggie Holmes 6x12 stickers and I love how well it matches the plants. The strip on the side was created with on of the stamps in the <a href="http://www.gossamerblue.com/product/april-2016-life-pages-kit/" target="_blank">Life Pages kit</a>. I had to stamp it twice but it lined up perfectly. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4-FfipHySas0mSkUKk-2VMzDYhFK2SxMhyphenhyphenufkTcsvoHXpxs1EKjmm42VlmkHtZLB2F_ZqJ4bw0v-RdH8_h-FiTNOX60oZ44u044I-unHFmwrjsRY4g0H9BDR-KuTuafzP4H2q7wIfaNbI/s1600/bloom1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4-FfipHySas0mSkUKk-2VMzDYhFK2SxMhyphenhyphenufkTcsvoHXpxs1EKjmm42VlmkHtZLB2F_ZqJ4bw0v-RdH8_h-FiTNOX60oZ44u044I-unHFmwrjsRY4g0H9BDR-KuTuafzP4H2q7wIfaNbI/s640/bloom1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Here, you can see what parts I popped up with foam squares. I decided to a small piece to the top of the plant in the back just to make pop a bit more. Adding dimension on cards can make such a big difference. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglLLBp6PK26QFtwUybuqzrKYEVxuxSvEVdE7JMuYpIMuZ-qebOshWcLdYsgV1nwccYFAhJYaQrvYotKaXvjy9OdO57aiZpHHaVnZS-KWA-hIk3yfMD-9avXpXzpfjlHhxxcPr4DIIfkKLp/s1600/cardsneak.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglLLBp6PK26QFtwUybuqzrKYEVxuxSvEVdE7JMuYpIMuZ-qebOshWcLdYsgV1nwccYFAhJYaQrvYotKaXvjy9OdO57aiZpHHaVnZS-KWA-hIk3yfMD-9avXpXzpfjlHhxxcPr4DIIfkKLp/s640/cardsneak.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
For this card, I used the stamp set from last much and repeatedly stamped the word "happy" to create a background. I then cut some patterned paper from the Main kit to create a tag. I then punched a hole, added embroidery thread and added the gorgeous butterfly sticker. This card is so simple but I absolutely love how it turned out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8GMYS6y9P3sw6jrPGU9vcrw3PkgvUpfcPCO4tchsjOj2eMZMd6juTK1b_7g4A09F9iOGcrSxO-3bR6sXeilAN0B58Rzcxsx2lkZhSohl3aUqPNw_2RWhVHh5erGc-_M2YKVU48EVJJHlh/s1600/butterfly1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8GMYS6y9P3sw6jrPGU9vcrw3PkgvUpfcPCO4tchsjOj2eMZMd6juTK1b_7g4A09F9iOGcrSxO-3bR6sXeilAN0B58Rzcxsx2lkZhSohl3aUqPNw_2RWhVHh5erGc-_M2YKVU48EVJJHlh/s640/butterfly1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is a close up of the butterfly.<br />

Time just flies by these days.<br />
Of course, it being the first day of the month, that means it is reveal day over at the Gossamer Blue website! These kits are absolutely stunning and are probably my favorite kits ever!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvynDkSfoqUbAHuS87xcfWgR796Y4W1IArugxkSiM2xC5zG1yCZQtasKNrKC3bWbaue8lyo_NQj-zv218l-dRpxk5-3Zrmusg8J0BaQ3QfipJHs0RzSHVlzoEF2dkFWCSNJU4-VqukLKRg/s1600/planner1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvynDkSfoqUbAHuS87xcfWgR796Y4W1IArugxkSiM2xC5zG1yCZQtasKNrKC3bWbaue8lyo_NQj-zv218l-dRpxk5-3Zrmusg8J0BaQ3QfipJHs0RzSHVlzoEF2dkFWCSNJU4-VqukLKRg/s640/planner1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My first, and probably favorite project, is my planner dashboard! This Maggie Holmes paper and ephemera are just too cute together! </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhps3SWZLaus9HAh3vyHf8aBJ-cFR-RQBiCw6LNOmdWXNdciE0FLFQacw4HxYdHzBFzQaDJ-CH-SfNwwaal-NuPcvA7PgcCE9gW2MqAM8EJP8_DbbU74bvfxqz2w-hFbiLaCMEZWYcaWD3p/s1600/planner2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhps3SWZLaus9HAh3vyHf8aBJ-cFR-RQBiCw6LNOmdWXNdciE0FLFQacw4HxYdHzBFzQaDJ-CH-SfNwwaal-NuPcvA7PgcCE9gW2MqAM8EJP8_DbbU74bvfxqz2w-hFbiLaCMEZWYcaWD3p/s640/planner2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Here is a close up of the ephemera cluster. I love the light colors with the pops of bright yellow! I actually wasn't sure if I was going to use this paper but it probably ended up being my most used paper. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsCvNwO1og0FIe8hPffidSb7NRPktC9wpoxjFkL9lMtPox2AdPJwXgl6jIJuRn4yLiSNYaBGmOYdrsUmVm_7Nd2sGsAk30rdGjavyXO9y_wEWMVuoRwjwiva1s0qRQSj0jNFyv7aeEzo-7/s1600/planner3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="425" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsCvNwO1og0FIe8hPffidSb7NRPktC9wpoxjFkL9lMtPox2AdPJwXgl6jIJuRn4yLiSNYaBGmOYdrsUmVm_7Nd2sGsAk30rdGjavyXO9y_wEWMVuoRwjwiva1s0qRQSj0jNFyv7aeEzo-7/s640/planner3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In the top pockets, I added some of the labels included in the Life Pages kit which, when cut down to 3 labels, fit perfectly. I also added that cute tag just for some decoration.<br />
One of my favorite things in all of the kits are the C'est La Vie washi tape which were included in the Life Pages Themed add-on. The whole C'est La Vie collection is just absolutely stunning.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt4_uRBvZL8V5XNKgustG8BsRwg9r5d6nzJVOVYDH0ejoZYQcM9uPgXe_eoIKi_8l7Des30QI_MNQ5NPVK9YaHAN7G-x-EqgwWNtpHVrmNPN51Eh5aRQ3KBs-kNJp1Cu9STYUJNVOHqSa9/s1600/planner4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt4_uRBvZL8V5XNKgustG8BsRwg9r5d6nzJVOVYDH0ejoZYQcM9uPgXe_eoIKi_8l7Des30QI_MNQ5NPVK9YaHAN7G-x-EqgwWNtpHVrmNPN51Eh5aRQ3KBs-kNJp1Cu9STYUJNVOHqSa9/s640/planner4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
For the bottom pockets, I just decorated them with some Maggie Holmes floral ephemera which came in the Bits & Pieces kit. Of course, I needed a bit more gold, so I added these gold alphas behind the washi tapes.<br />
<br />
Another fun project I made were these boxes! My mom recently got me the We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board and it can do so much.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The largest box was created with the textured, white cardstock which came in the Main kit. For the bow as well as the other boxes, I used paper from the C'est La Vie paper pad and they turned out so cute! These would be great for giving little gifts!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
That is it for today! I had so much fun creating with the March Gossamer Blue kits and I know they will continue to be used for quite a while!</div>

February already? I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels as though time is flying by. If you are a GB lover, then you know that it is reveal day!<br />
As a Project Lifer, I can't say enough good things about the Life Pages kits this month! The cards were gorgeous, we got fun embellishments, and the stamps are back!<br />
<br />
Here is a spread I creating using the LP kits. When you have great products, spreads come together so easily, like this one.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV3V8Dz9bvEUe6CXrhAnoUO2MdQTr3wzBiazYjNQU1FpehGo4jZ1Gkoxk9jS4OEkKqFGdIdjQuOOi3sfW68ZzpCYXjgYai6xL4vTqqnYUZsIl9k-5hzPbfkCoHJIaWuSVRaYynYGEKGtpE/s1600/wk40.1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="618" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV3V8Dz9bvEUe6CXrhAnoUO2MdQTr3wzBiazYjNQU1FpehGo4jZ1Gkoxk9jS4OEkKqFGdIdjQuOOi3sfW68ZzpCYXjgYai6xL4vTqqnYUZsIl9k-5hzPbfkCoHJIaWuSVRaYynYGEKGtpE/s640/wk40.1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I loved how all of the colors complimented each other and how well most of them went with my photos!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJdJg_9eTE4dejjFrWzAzwt-2mYxecmLPcuVTdwfETxQSPaGaVY4RdM8sO4BFiJyzlLCaNmK3IOBDjdGTDpNdMPNHcxbqvS7XKbVXD_JjPP1q7QtjBoChKwL9A06XB-R9894ulzfUuSxcw/s1600/wk40.2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="610" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJdJg_9eTE4dejjFrWzAzwt-2mYxecmLPcuVTdwfETxQSPaGaVY4RdM8sO4BFiJyzlLCaNmK3IOBDjdGTDpNdMPNHcxbqvS7XKbVXD_JjPP1q7QtjBoChKwL9A06XB-R9894ulzfUuSxcw/s640/wk40.2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also really loved the enamel embellishments by Hiedi Swapp and Fancy Pants Designs that we got in the kits this month.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Speaking of embellishments, they are also great for creating planner accessories! I have only recently gotten into the planner obsession and I wanted to make some things for myself. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So all I did was get some paper clips and I attached the various embellishments to them with adhesive! Now I have some very cute paperclips to use in my planner.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

It is blog hop day over at Gossamer Blue and today I am sharing these little envelopes I made.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiujF1CafxnjvS3l6773e1UcUGhb3Em7gdevhgedL-INVGZvNiYBqXWlX6EnHezVnUhyvcb8gDoGHXihpAWD6T1SG5hU8i0VD__2eSmoaCRT9hucFeEsdEySvE_zcre-6SY8N3zekblmYrZ/s1600/envelopes1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiujF1CafxnjvS3l6773e1UcUGhb3Em7gdevhgedL-INVGZvNiYBqXWlX6EnHezVnUhyvcb8gDoGHXihpAWD6T1SG5hU8i0VD__2eSmoaCRT9hucFeEsdEySvE_zcre-6SY8N3zekblmYrZ/s640/envelopes1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
We got some really gorgeous paper in this month's kits and while on Pinterest, I came across a tutorial for these envelopes. There are many tutorials for these and, the best part, they are super easy!<br />
<br />
I thought about leaving them blank but they were just asking to be embellished! I decided to use some Heidi Swapp products and I love how they turned out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidlcACdYqmCwwS1H6ArvUFFxfVj0v2G0VnNrBvq2o9fbhBnhpJXOJmKmMY3crL0EKCBRjakcxBpnGxbZ-bd92jomqgoThUQ0dC6lHLp0hI1-eUq-tLTk_6HJiTjRrPW9KQFAyNAHC2SJQt/s1600/envelopes2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidlcACdYqmCwwS1H6ArvUFFxfVj0v2G0VnNrBvq2o9fbhBnhpJXOJmKmMY3crL0EKCBRjakcxBpnGxbZ-bd92jomqgoThUQ0dC6lHLp0hI1-eUq-tLTk_6HJiTjRrPW9KQFAyNAHC2SJQt/s640/envelopes2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the enclosure, I used the buttons which were included in the Main Add-on kit as well as some embroidery thread which came from my stash. I popped the buttons up on a piece of foam tape so I could wrap the thread around it and then I was done! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
These are a super quick and adorable project! You can add photos, notes, maybe even other embellishments in them and give them to other people.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I hope you like these quick and easy envelopes and I will see you next time! Be sure to check out everyone else's posts for the GB blog hop! </div>

I cannot believe we are already in 2016! I hope this year brings all of you health and happiness!<br />
<br />
Today is also reveal day for the January GB kits and I must say, these kits are definitely my favorite so far! Today I have a few cute and colorful projects I created with these kits and I'm very excited to share!<br />
<br />
First off, I created a couple of cards with the <a href="http://www.gossamerblue.com/product/january-2016-main-kit/" target="_blank">Main kit</a> and the Life Pages kit.<br />
This shaker card didn't turn out how I expected, like a lot of things I create, but I really love it! I planned on using the other side of this paper which was red with white hearts but I liked the more subtle pattern so I decided to go with that. I cut the paper to an A2 card size (5.5x4.25) and used a circle die to cut a circle in the middle.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZfc4F6et_uQZYd-p7G03h0yQdk6gqmpDeYz9g1TbIQm_bqJ3PKvw75YJbqnQunCKtmWaPo4m6oU66VdecpOmbcrmDD3ywL9yYNMdd_YE5pdYP7azdILVqwZfEmbcB88kQdl6Ieu34awmm/s1600/heartshaker.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZfc4F6et_uQZYd-p7G03h0yQdk6gqmpDeYz9g1TbIQm_bqJ3PKvw75YJbqnQunCKtmWaPo4m6oU66VdecpOmbcrmDD3ywL9yYNMdd_YE5pdYP7azdILVqwZfEmbcB88kQdl6Ieu34awmm/s640/heartshaker.jpg" width="518" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
After that, I attached some acetate which I had from my stash and added a few heart stickers which were included in the main kit. These are from Crate Paper's Hello Love Enamel Shapes which I really loved working with. This collection is absolutely stunning and I cannot get enough of it!<br />
To complete the card, I just added sequins and foam tape and adhered it to my card base!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRSxDEuuD-lYQ2vEC5IfsxgpAw2tl3Ohs3EVAqbv9Vd-KSz8whglZ9a-NgTm38DCRbAfbM4ZpEjwUqVrZomXNDa-2azk5x-dr7Tkv9jtHZJMAUeAEVCOWhhSZ0Nk1gy21vpigbGLyk3bxD/s1600/heartshaker2+copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRSxDEuuD-lYQ2vEC5IfsxgpAw2tl3Ohs3EVAqbv9Vd-KSz8whglZ9a-NgTm38DCRbAfbM4ZpEjwUqVrZomXNDa-2azk5x-dr7Tkv9jtHZJMAUeAEVCOWhhSZ0Nk1gy21vpigbGLyk3bxD/s640/heartshaker2+copy.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This next card is incredibly simple! I took a tag-shaped die and used it to cut one of the 4x6 cards included in the Life Pages kit as well as a piece of vellum from my stash. Then I pulled out the enamel shapes again and chose the "Feel the Love" sentiment as well as a small pink heart. To finish it off, I used a couple of glitter enamel dots by Heidi Swapp and that was it!<br />
Both of these cards would make great Valentine's day cards for a special someone or even just for a friend.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirEXwdz-XRRAVGNBs_DgqM3BbeAMR3-iLFW27ctysszvAhnYXnHLCMTbcqd64366PMmDPhuYSvNnZWeDIJsSBijGdt51jAMtpwBNsnkAcOcw43Kqv1zNqOER4TPQmDm6StSg-2yX8QPijj/s1600/feelthelove.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirEXwdz-XRRAVGNBs_DgqM3BbeAMR3-iLFW27ctysszvAhnYXnHLCMTbcqd64366PMmDPhuYSvNnZWeDIJsSBijGdt51jAMtpwBNsnkAcOcw43Kqv1zNqOER4TPQmDm6StSg-2yX8QPijj/s640/feelthelove.jpg" width="504" /></a></div>
<br />
Although December is now over, I'm sure I am not the only one who hasn't completed their December Memories album. Between my health, printer problems and just not wanting to edit photos, I am pretty behind, but I'm slowly catching up.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgau6GS-MBFeyN9B0BGqMD6pYW0GeBxqAPzJlK00w1SC8eEJqZyWePR9zaP-TPsnzPZisWAKrUZS58oM3_XgYOghOsLdhrv-aX18_MZw-rMjfcw1EQBp336hcqIxi-lzy8nxcHSsfJ9Nolq/s1600/feelthelove2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgau6GS-MBFeyN9B0BGqMD6pYW0GeBxqAPzJlK00w1SC8eEJqZyWePR9zaP-TPsnzPZisWAKrUZS58oM3_XgYOghOsLdhrv-aX18_MZw-rMjfcw1EQBp336hcqIxi-lzy8nxcHSsfJ9Nolq/s640/feelthelove2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I had this photo of some clothes my mom got me at Old Navy that I wanted to document but I knew my printer wouldn't be able to print this as a good quality 6x8 photo. I thought about sending it somewhere to get printed but once I got my January kits, I knew it would look great as a mini scrapbook page!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiTHYu0JH5cMpeE2MUvqmEBrOHRWwtAbf2NhCDIYHWOYg6__yawotJdPnT8B8vI8kEyJtiow1ORJL_u6lN1L9Pj5sGOtUTmKIKp_-j9AemX8YGE5m2OOsPXLVXAuq_0E7q7tLI2c0Mc-cZ/s1600/DM6x8.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiTHYu0JH5cMpeE2MUvqmEBrOHRWwtAbf2NhCDIYHWOYg6__yawotJdPnT8B8vI8kEyJtiow1ORJL_u6lN1L9Pj5sGOtUTmKIKp_-j9AemX8YGE5m2OOsPXLVXAuq_0E7q7tLI2c0Mc-cZ/s640/DM6x8.jpg" width="490" /></a></div>
<br />
Using a mix of all of my kits, I put together a page which may not be your typical Christmas page, but it is still super cute! Using the Heidi Swapp Memory Planner tabs, I created hidden journaling telling the story behind the clothes.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4W34o1I0qhvwtp_1wFc8yhhFCUdRI9wC7s30SmUT6CovTReHMCkulaAeM5FIxKDuBOx0KqEHiUq2CT2EnX3YwQ1BLaaQSxolhgKL4jWwWoFAnR4KWLZBuv10z4_tpcey5Q_uImbNNtgxm/s1600/DM6x8.2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4W34o1I0qhvwtp_1wFc8yhhFCUdRI9wC7s30SmUT6CovTReHMCkulaAeM5FIxKDuBOx0KqEHiUq2CT2EnX3YwQ1BLaaQSxolhgKL4jWwWoFAnR4KWLZBuv10z4_tpcey5Q_uImbNNtgxm/s640/DM6x8.2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

Life has been hectic with my health lately which is why this is a bit short and why the photos aren't too great.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So today, I have a simple, but adorable card for you! I really loved how this turned out and it didn't take long to make.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgehJqeHx9KspiNMSWlDBQhpDezxGI3BnvjQmKK99DUGYb6Hc1m-ho0A_qnZu-soaA928FIh2NYFOgiiR6Lz-2oSXe_QIsbFRqtbFbyEb48XMTRT_MU2dQ12vY81nud60j6OyKd96eThq9c/s1600/bloghop.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgehJqeHx9KspiNMSWlDBQhpDezxGI3BnvjQmKK99DUGYb6Hc1m-ho0A_qnZu-soaA928FIh2NYFOgiiR6Lz-2oSXe_QIsbFRqtbFbyEb48XMTRT_MU2dQ12vY81nud60j6OyKd96eThq9c/s400/bloghop.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the cupcake, I used the My Mind's Eye cardstock stickers included in the Life Pages kit. I loved this sticker sheet and it would be great for making lots of birthday cards!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggIWF1fN-ivEWipxcMeICjIgUVjTAgiP3FxI7uQyF9-ach0zmOXcp_X70XhIDuZIS0nTVsZhyphenhyphenxj-3IF4BC7a51ny9zumKwMY2BDpHSpzmHbXy2jnecA0GkrgC4eoux02M9sF-9JjQ03heR/s1600/bloghop1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggIWF1fN-ivEWipxcMeICjIgUVjTAgiP3FxI7uQyF9-ach0zmOXcp_X70XhIDuZIS0nTVsZhyphenhyphenxj-3IF4BC7a51ny9zumKwMY2BDpHSpzmHbXy2jnecA0GkrgC4eoux02M9sF-9JjQ03heR/s400/bloghop1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I really loved all of the gold in these kits, especially these gold word stickers. These stickers are by American Crafts and are from the Main kit. I layered it with a couple of scrap pieces of paper also from the Main kit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7q1uJINbVfQCNTJ3gTXtzY37wMa5T-8n7nzSywpTnbbOQCZyK7LX9v1ogB4C_bzHl-I2PTMNwqTQX427xr9zTeq_vyxSYcV4gdxFclq-94S5p5caVDO8WYyiicXt2QZOU6pyqVouFaFXE/s1600/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7q1uJINbVfQCNTJ3gTXtzY37wMa5T-8n7nzSywpTnbbOQCZyK7LX9v1ogB4C_bzHl-I2PTMNwqTQX427xr9zTeq_vyxSYcV4gdxFclq-94S5p5caVDO8WYyiicXt2QZOU6pyqVouFaFXE/s400/2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Once I adhered those, I finished the card off with some hearts and paper strips. The hearts are from the Maggie Holmes and Pink Paislee Memorandum puffy stickers.<br />

These kits are stunning and I think what I love most is that it isn't Christmas themed. I've seen many kit clubs who have winter/Christmas kits for this month as their main kits. All of December isn't about Christmas. Other things still happen and if you are like me, you will still be catching up on your Project Life album.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This month, I worked on some traditional pages as well as catching up on my regular album. The first thing I created this month was a scrapbook page of Clara in her halloween costume.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_gDm09Wh-0Tl1TvQ01692lgQ8QKXVXdGRwmBMiQ22ZYWf2Z7SGwJLUEoxAFHHzKyhn2DdPnA07x76ckb1qoQqVb4KeEqyDoYS1SjNzbxQExK1eNu3tGhpBnha2VwgTYZmTJOmY6sJuEZp/s1600/bumblebee1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_gDm09Wh-0Tl1TvQ01692lgQ8QKXVXdGRwmBMiQ22ZYWf2Z7SGwJLUEoxAFHHzKyhn2DdPnA07x76ckb1qoQqVb4KeEqyDoYS1SjNzbxQExK1eNu3tGhpBnha2VwgTYZmTJOmY6sJuEZp/s640/bumblebee1.jpg" width="510" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
I couldn't be happier with how this page turned out! The colors are so fun and the embellishments are perfect. These kits were just amazing! This month, there were only one or two things I wasn't a big fan of and considering how much you get in each kit, that says a lot!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirAzXaRzLPQebZcYbKPS-fhvsZvmywnc2d3Novv2Sux104q9KbDIektiDyXUGdZE1B45kERrUOOwBNKq3vIdKhycKRVyb3subsNbfJw-jRZPYgnEfXFwROaOGUO9XdA5hCF6XwXlA5Dc8B/s1600/bumblebee2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirAzXaRzLPQebZcYbKPS-fhvsZvmywnc2d3Novv2Sux104q9KbDIektiDyXUGdZE1B45kERrUOOwBNKq3vIdKhycKRVyb3subsNbfJw-jRZPYgnEfXFwROaOGUO9XdA5hCF6XwXlA5Dc8B/s640/bumblebee2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
These word paper clips were probably my favorite thing out of all the kits and I already know I will have to buy more! The Maggie Holmes ephemera pack was also something I loved which surprised me because I'm not usually a big fan of her things. I usually like the designs but I don't like working with off white. This collection however, is an exception.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3qCE4hJUImVQepOrVSlL5iP1hZvBDLgITTReaxgc7EUBZ3dDC7vxk3n2YqjWjBmGyAjjTs9L7Ev9ZiH9qiyncAuZPcQYgx9eQKp8yto5lnpQjkNt7KilCkvTU1fn4DtT98q18-rO4uNgI/s1600/bumblebee3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3qCE4hJUImVQepOrVSlL5iP1hZvBDLgITTReaxgc7EUBZ3dDC7vxk3n2YqjWjBmGyAjjTs9L7Ev9ZiH9qiyncAuZPcQYgx9eQKp8yto5lnpQjkNt7KilCkvTU1fn4DtT98q18-rO4uNgI/s640/bumblebee3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
We also got lots of alpha stickers which, I mean really, can you ever have enough alphas? </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also worked on my Project Life album with these kits which is something I haven't been doing as much lately as I've been feeling uninspired. The Life Pages kit definitely helped with that! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBaKijDkZ1bS1tS7VDWEvAjC45AsPTPcuyVoKNB6qDkz_5ICXc8zoMkW0iytT5L-b5j4JoNYdzSSADqk9BkRt-s5MfSr_Tri6OASgS8EH02ELPBFNVICP8Lt35JRPjqC0c9ZOMimDRqEK9/s1600/wk33.1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="610" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgBaKijDkZ1bS1tS7VDWEvAjC45AsPTPcuyVoKNB6qDkz_5ICXc8zoMkW0iytT5L-b5j4JoNYdzSSADqk9BkRt-s5MfSr_Tri6OASgS8EH02ELPBFNVICP8Lt35JRPjqC0c9ZOMimDRqEK9/s640/wk33.1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
This was the week of my second back surgery which I had done in Charleston. I love all of the white space in this spread as well as the subtle embellishments. I used the acetate "remember" by itself next to a cute photo of Clara and I.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Here you can see another one of the alpha sets we got and I apologize to anyone who gets grossed out by IVs!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This gorgeous photo was taken not far from out hotel which was stunning. Again, I used an acetate piece and attached it to the page.<br />
<br />
So that is it for now and I hope you love these as much as I do! I'll be sharing another post soon so keep a look out of that here on my blog.<br />

I've always hated Christmas things starting way before Thanksgiving and although it does still annoy me that people are already putting their tree up, this is the first year I don't mind seeing Christmas things early. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is my first time doing a December album and I am so excited to start! I love seeing all of the holiday craft supplies in stores and online and even though it was only October, I was so excited to get my <a href="http://www.gossamerblue.com/product/2015-december-memories-kit/" target="_blank">December Memories</a> kit from Gossamer Blue!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRuybXieNt8O6LO8hkvVVQ6-mJH1aiHp5-lIIrR6O9jfiklmMBJGQcGsByBrzRrw1TfH6K_3AiQU4diubcf9gne551hhHHIQws7P_QHfrX5R73HE0lnLRO8yyOFhHJwQwYB926Tr69bjve/s1600/DMalbum4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRuybXieNt8O6LO8hkvVVQ6-mJH1aiHp5-lIIrR6O9jfiklmMBJGQcGsByBrzRrw1TfH6K_3AiQU4diubcf9gne551hhHHIQws7P_QHfrX5R73HE0lnLRO8yyOFhHJwQwYB926Tr69bjve/s640/DMalbum4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I will admit, this being my first time doing a December album <i>and</i> being on a design team made me a bit nervous, especially when it came to decorating the cover of my album. Like most people, I have a December Daily/Memories <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/Alexhunterus/december-dailymemories/" target="_blank">Pinterest board</a> with lots of inspiring albums and pages so I felt as though I wouldn't be able to make something "pin worthy". Although my album didn't turn out as I planned, I am insanely in love with it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To begin, I knew I was going to paint the kraft album white but I wasn't really sure where to go from there. After messing with a few ideas, I finally figured out what I wanted to do. In the <a href="http://www.gossamerblue.com/product/november-2015-life-pages-themed-add-on/" target="_blank">November Themed Life Pages Add-On</a>, we got these white Pink Paislee letters which were a great size for the album and then looked for something that said "memories" on it and saw that the class stamp set (free when you order the DM kit) had that on there. I didn't have a good red ink so I decided to heat emboss it with red embossing powder. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghanGjpJjGoIC-wV4FmV0Tn9pjuci0airmQcn3kJTHgBONv-aLdTpMipXFxJo0Q_lQCapi-GXfjC4EKvuHQizXfp4KMK1HIxTtm7l8txtjV0Y7BhRSKV_Wsq7Qy-pg_x-J5NNSyMepvkmV/s1600/DMalbum2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghanGjpJjGoIC-wV4FmV0Tn9pjuci0airmQcn3kJTHgBONv-aLdTpMipXFxJo0Q_lQCapi-GXfjC4EKvuHQizXfp4KMK1HIxTtm7l8txtjV0Y7BhRSKV_Wsq7Qy-pg_x-J5NNSyMepvkmV/s640/DMalbum2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This is when I decided to create my "cover" on a piece of cardstock. If I tried to add embossing powder to the album itself, it would have ended up a mess, so I heat embossed the "memories" onto the paper and then used red numbers from the Heidi Swapp sticker book to create the 2015. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Anyone who knows me know that I love white space and this album obviously has plenty of it but it was a bit boring. I looked at the stamp set set again and saw a snowflake image so I used white embossing powder to create a subtle pattern and finished it off with a strip of silver glitter cardstock.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

Sorry! </span><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif;">So as many of you know, I had second back surgery in August. I have created a 6x8 album for it but haven't actually done that much of it because I haven't been feeling inspired lately. The Life Pages kit this month had absolutely gorgeous 3x4 and 4x6 cards and I decided they would look great in my surgery album. I didn't start at the beginning just because I didn't like the hospital photos (no one ever looks great after surgery) so I decided to document some shopping we did and the park/pier near out hotel.</span></span><br />

<a name='more'></a><br />
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This page was a lot of fun to make and I love how bright it is! The paper that the Michael's receipt is on was included in the Main Kit and is by Amy Tangerine. This was was one of my favorite papers this month! I also love the shaped paper clips we got in the Bits & Pieces kit and the stamp set which came in that kit as well. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">This page is all about the pier which was so pretty! Again, I kept this page nice and bright so the focus would be on the photos. The "Thankful" card was also created with the stamp set included in the Bits & Pieces kit. I also used the stamp set included in the Life Pages kit to hide some journaling and to add a little stamped phrase on the 4x6 photo. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Overall, I'm very happy with how these pages turned out and I can't wait to create more! </span></div>

Despite many people not knowing what Dysautonomia is, it is actually quite common. This condition causes your autonomic nervous system to not work properly which controls the things you don't think about, such as your heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing. </span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span>

<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
<div>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">I was diagnosed with a form of this illness in November of 2012. The form I have is Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, POTS for short. This is the most common form and 1 in 100 teens have this condition in the US. The main sign of POTS is when your heart rate raises a significant amount when you stand up. For a diagnosis, your HR typically has to raise 40 bpm when going from sitting to standing and for many, a big drop in blood pressure tends to go along with this condition as well.</span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"> Other symptoms I experience included nausea, fatigue, dizziness, extreme sensitivity to heat, dehydration, brain fog, and high adrenalin levels. </span></span><br />
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">The </span>brain<span style="font-family: inherit;"> fog is </span>mainly<span style="font-family: inherit;"> due to blood pooling </span>in the<span style="font-family: inherit;"> lower part of my body. My veins don't constrict properly to get the blood back up to my brain. When I got the test for POTS, I was strapped to a table which then is tilted up to about 90 degrees. When this happened, the amount of blood in my brain dropped by about 50%. So as you can imagine, that isn't very pleasant. </span></span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">If you follow me on instagram, I'm sure you have seen me mention Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) which is a genetic condition I have been diagnosed with. EDS can cause POTS and most people with Ehlers Danlos syndrome do have POTS. Most of the time, POTS will go away in your mid 20s but when it is caused by another condition, like it is for me, it will not go away.</span></div>
<div style="color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #222222; font-family: inherit;">The main treatment for POTS are saline infusions to help with the extreme dehydration caused by the illness. I started getting infusions in January 2013 and started off with one liter, once a week which then was raised to two liters once a week. Three years later, I am currently receiving two liters three times a week. I am on medications which help raise my blood pressure and lower my heart rate but I'm still very limited in what I can do. The worst </span><span style="color: #222222;">part</span><span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"> of infusions? The central lines.. </span></span></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBWe-1aUhUjgj1rlsKyii9QZ23zpwQjpa69WBEoC4rgPfRBRv1-Qb1en5am3RGWfYUf1eYHQ_wXLDtKRwzRyIfaoyzjPVvJJNU0mnzxb3JbdF1pvgTbJFPL-Iic32KUM89KPyGFSDnGOCd/s1600/blog3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBWe-1aUhUjgj1rlsKyii9QZ23zpwQjpa69WBEoC4rgPfRBRv1-Qb1en5am3RGWfYUf1eYHQ_wXLDtKRwzRyIfaoyzjPVvJJNU0mnzxb3JbdF1pvgTbJFPL-Iic32KUM89KPyGFSDnGOCd/s640/blog3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div>
<span style="color: #222222;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">I got my first central line in April 2013 and by February 2014, I was on my forth central line due to something always going wrong. All of those central lines were ports which go under the skin, typically in your chest, and are accessed by a needle. After my third, they decided to </span>try one in my arm which then led to blood clots in my arm just six days after getting it placed. They were able to get rid of the clots without removing the line but on February 5th, I went to the ER due to sever chest pain and they found out I had significant blood clots in both of my lungs. Illnesses like these have cause so many indirect problems like the clots. After that port was removed, I got a hickman which is just a different kind of central line and it lasted quite a while! I only recently had to get it replaced.</span></div>
</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">As you can see, an illness like this is ugly. It doesn't care if you have to quit swimming, lose your friends, have to leave school, need a home health nurse, none of that. It takes away all of the plans you had for a future and you have to deal with the fact that this is your future. You just have to learn to make the best of it.</span></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #222222;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Although I hate my medical conditions, I wouldn't be where I am without them. They have made me who I am and they have made me love what I love. I definitely wouldn't be scrapbooking or card making if I wasn't sick. I wouldn't have been able to make a font for Becky Higgins, be on the Gossamer Blue design team or have the amazing scrappy friends I have! I wouldn't even have Clara which would mean we wouldn't know Clara's amazing trainer!</span></div>

I am so excited to be sharing this card with all of you and I really hope you enjoy it! I created this card about a week ago and I just fell in love with it and couldn't wait to share it. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Lawn Fawn have come out with super cute Christmas stamp sets recently and although I really wanted one of the larger sets, I just couldn't spend all that money one one stamp set and a set of dies when I could get multiple smaller stamp sets for the same price. The first two I bought were the Winter Penguin and the Winter Alpaca stamps and I am so in love with them. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span>
This card does have quite a few steps, but they are all pretty simple. It does take some time to create these but in my opinion, it is well worth it!<br />

And secondly, I appologize for the quality of the photos. September had just been an off month for me so I'm glad it is finally over.<br />
The October Gossamer Blue kits are so pretty this month and although I wasn't a huge fan when I saw the photos, I love them in person!<br />
I have two traditional scrapbook pages to show you today and I really love how both of them turned out!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9EY7vQVHl5cMTjXffvpr4a5geScrN7jZ6NsCnrhntYXNnt-oGALmP0hkAuhfbIt1yDHaEw-pNQ0rZCX-4FqlJFRTGifXZthbUx236G95U-XQoFgroGaF2klHsB5D9rigBHowzPqnwO1f4/s1600/GBoctober1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9EY7vQVHl5cMTjXffvpr4a5geScrN7jZ6NsCnrhntYXNnt-oGALmP0hkAuhfbIt1yDHaEw-pNQ0rZCX-4FqlJFRTGifXZthbUx236G95U-XQoFgroGaF2klHsB5D9rigBHowzPqnwO1f4/s640/GBoctober1.jpg" width="498" /></a></div>
<br />
Both of these pages are completely different for me and I really love them! I went looking on Pinterest for some inspiration and I was definitely inspired. Sadly, I can't remember who they are inspired by!<br />
For the triangle/heart page, I created the heart in photoshop first and then used my silhouette to cut out the triangles. I actually started off with completely different colors but they were too bold for the photo. I love the wood veneer and the rub ons..and the little hearts and stars this month! Haha :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4Y-rkCfHxbxKeU045CRpSs1XoaaxJL5Wxt2w2evnDqrQ0zrdf4NYxnhoPq7W3LwiW1o7VFrfsv1OpgN-TojM4QoshRBjVuRVpihd1f5d8Z7CtQrJizbcMt9vGzCN18SpDGGEj88jQ62zB/s1600/mycrew1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4Y-rkCfHxbxKeU045CRpSs1XoaaxJL5Wxt2w2evnDqrQ0zrdf4NYxnhoPq7W3LwiW1o7VFrfsv1OpgN-TojM4QoshRBjVuRVpihd1f5d8Z7CtQrJizbcMt9vGzCN18SpDGGEj88jQ62zB/s640/mycrew1.jpg" width="492" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Sorry for the poor lighting in this photo..again..off month for me. I LOVE this polkadot paper soooo much! This photo is from when I was pretty young (that's me at the back in the navy swim suit) and this was definitely "my crew" We were all on a swim team together and we (the older kids) were best of friends. When I saw these stickers, I knew that had to be the title for this page! I used the woodgrain and yellow striped paper because they represent the sand and sun and the colors just worked really well. I love how this page turned out. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
So that is it for today and I hope to be sharing some new things in the next week or so! I hope you have a great day!</div>

First of all, the main reason I'm even posting this is because I feel like it might help get these feelings out of my head or at least let me be able to think about something else.. I hope this doesn't seem like I want to be pitied, because that isn't it at all. I'm really bad at posting things like this but this is one thing that I just needed to get out. </div>

<span style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">When I was in school, I had a decent amount of friends but only a couple who I felt were really good friends. With the others, I always felt as though I didn't belong and that they would rather be with their other friends instead of me. When I left school due to my illness, I lost all of my friends except one and it honestly wasn't much of a surprise and didn't really bother me. For a while, I only had two close friends and I was okay with that. </span><br />
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
Recently, I've been making more friends and the feelings I had in high school are returning but sadly, I know that the feelings aren't irrational. I feel as though they would all rather hang out with other friends instead of me..and I know the reasons and they all make sense but it doesn't make me feel any better. I'm at least 3 years younger than all of my new friends, I'm the only one not in a relationship, and I am chronically ill. It makes sense to want to hang out with people your own age more than someone who is younger, especially when you are both in serious relationships. Plus, being friends with a chronically ill person is just harder in general. I just wish that knowing these things made it easier to deal with. </div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
With a certain group of friends, I see them hanging out together and it's hard, I'm not going to lie. I feel like when I am invited, it's because they feel as though they have to. I mean, we have a great time together but I still feel like the odd one out and it's when we aren't all together that I feel...unwanted, I guess. Of course it is no ones fault and I know if they knew how it made me feel, they would feel bad but I can't help it.</div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
</div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
Even when I was in elementary school, I was insecure about my friendships and I guess it has never gone away. I never thought that having less friends would actually be easier for me. </div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.701961); font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;">
I think putting these feelings into words has helped a bitand I hope that these feelings will pass or at least get better with time. </div>

For today's blog hop, I am sharing some super simple cards that I created with this month's kits. These cards are perfect if you are new to card making and don't want to go out and buy special supplies just for cards.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgireTw-_0sDjMPd_VBLapk1_fpbEJXVPVGaBs6P5O1UxM4IWPNuQcJPKBTOoLnoOpniJnib5t5wt199AObvSvsqRBqxbeoRB6phE4weGQwdIVhg3ANFzAH0QmqIjL_Ymi4GQtG2d6iu8BR/s1600/inspiration-blog-hop.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgireTw-_0sDjMPd_VBLapk1_fpbEJXVPVGaBs6P5O1UxM4IWPNuQcJPKBTOoLnoOpniJnib5t5wt199AObvSvsqRBqxbeoRB6phE4weGQwdIVhg3ANFzAH0QmqIjL_Ymi4GQtG2d6iu8BR/s640/inspiration-blog-hop.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
This first card was created with the Pinkfresh Studio acetate cards and triangles. For the background, I lined up the triangles how I wanted and glued them down. I didn't worry too much about the glue being visible but I know that may bother some people. After I finished glueing the triangles, I stapled one of the 3x4 acetate cards to white cardstock and backed it with foam adhesive. I really love how this one turned out!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_YDxqoTQFMlgKKz_65pdjTw5poRdoZ_Rosw2s8b9b8Nm-G-yaKRj1sOw4Un3Rid6q7YbZBx5jSbaL7jk88SvhvTHrj81wv90l8-foZJoX3dNGBoVYYJku5H7HojoLnqAHkwsBRuLtB1fW/s1600/exist.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_YDxqoTQFMlgKKz_65pdjTw5poRdoZ_Rosw2s8b9b8Nm-G-yaKRj1sOw4Un3Rid6q7YbZBx5jSbaL7jk88SvhvTHrj81wv90l8-foZJoX3dNGBoVYYJku5H7HojoLnqAHkwsBRuLtB1fW/s640/exist.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Next is this fun shaker card also using the acetate 3x4 cards. I knew I wouldn't really use the acetate cards in my Project life album so I wanted to challenge myself and find other ways to use them. This is my second shaker card and it is so easy!<br />
Most people who make shaker cards have rectangular dies but I don't so I just cut out the frame on my Silhouette portrait. I decided to add some patterned paper to the card base and then all I did was glue to card to the frame, add two layers of foam adhesive, add sequins and put it all together.<br />
For the finishing touch, I added a puffy sticker from Pinkfresh studio.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUw5qiI83fAVUYF6e0eQcrKMgwkbXyDWSp6Kz_6SkeUDHZH_kCgG-1asrn62phLhzkJQed8Sp1bNlnyPxcmwB1ZAfEE3LOiEdgAq1WVjEDnbtQRneBvzr088Wr9pyiZs7XjOYipCz6ikBt/s1600/dream.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUw5qiI83fAVUYF6e0eQcrKMgwkbXyDWSp6Kz_6SkeUDHZH_kCgG-1asrn62phLhzkJQed8Sp1bNlnyPxcmwB1ZAfEE3LOiEdgAq1WVjEDnbtQRneBvzr088Wr9pyiZs7XjOYipCz6ikBt/s640/dream.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I love the cut-apart sheet included in the Main add-on kit and it is great for making cards. I always have lots of scraps lying around which made this card really quick to put together. I picked out which scraps I wanted, put them in an order I liked, and glued them down. Then I just chose which phrase I wanted from the Happy Words paper by Pinkfresh Studio.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGAmaPmTKahQgzyKhaDFZRqGFgegUa35zCY3PRLzdayUdFcNWRdxw2vkFk0JqA7-XfNjqDmO-L-EUUoMD3e9yGg3rMcuGu4PgbxIC53b9ppEusG1Rgge4XN1G9F5FHq85YIaNbCQKyNdPp/s1600/goodtimes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGAmaPmTKahQgzyKhaDFZRqGFgegUa35zCY3PRLzdayUdFcNWRdxw2vkFk0JqA7-XfNjqDmO-L-EUUoMD3e9yGg3rMcuGu4PgbxIC53b9ppEusG1Rgge4XN1G9F5FHq85YIaNbCQKyNdPp/s640/goodtimes.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
For the card below, I used the cut-apart sheet again and created this super easy layered card. This is as easy as it gets! I just took one of the squares and layered patterned paper behind it and finished it off with a puffy sticker.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7xkcRm8bEc7Q8kXwP37xf44wkWsgS-sUOySEUh-9Bs40DptWAm_zNb6pXvtuzIm9GyTnbOesN1ehoiJmmzjlsC68nieSUBL0TaKyXA8SC2IHjkWJpUi__9G7GiofvZs6ZngEw8oqGPVoF/s1600/hello.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg7xkcRm8bEc7Q8kXwP37xf44wkWsgS-sUOySEUh-9Bs40DptWAm_zNb6pXvtuzIm9GyTnbOesN1ehoiJmmzjlsC68nieSUBL0TaKyXA8SC2IHjkWJpUi__9G7GiofvZs6ZngEw8oqGPVoF/s640/hello.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I hope you all like these cards. They were a lot of fun to make and I definitely plan to make more with these products.<br />
Be sure to check out all of the rest of the ladies' projects!<br />

Today I am sharing week 25 which I really love! I used a mix of the Life Pages kit, Life Pages Add-on #3 and some scrapbook paper! If you have been following me for a while, my pages tend to look pretty different from each other and that is something I want to work on. If all of my pages looked like this, I'd be pretty happy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwb4x_bcVzWvp6R34ZQqjcS6qItiG9SB1wFRw5aDBfJeU0Qqoga7CK2TaUOCRzyYKIV02J4QoMc2pfHCcJmBGNCGEK9N4X0fasy8vDYrzfa5smO_ncC2OA4XOld6UP2xPcg2k478OfIHdx/s1600/wk25.1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwb4x_bcVzWvp6R34ZQqjcS6qItiG9SB1wFRw5aDBfJeU0Qqoga7CK2TaUOCRzyYKIV02J4QoMc2pfHCcJmBGNCGEK9N4X0fasy8vDYrzfa5smO_ncC2OA4XOld6UP2xPcg2k478OfIHdx/s640/wk25.1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>This is the first time I didn't put the week number on the top left card. This page took me quite a while to put together and when I finally got the cards perfectly where I wanted them, the title just didn't look good where it normally would be. I couldn't get those numbers to work on the top left card for some reason.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjSl1KCkVAMOOficAa2GE-tVjMQAV0ZrI5dTe6wCP5dgAFG2Yd-AW4a_L3FFy82cl6d2_CdJ8mNjX1KHZXvtdNsKrgtmZsJNQ1sr1Tm_S95YZw2D4JHNiaY0U2emwIvaW_wTy-FaT-ZlSK/s1600/wk25.2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="424" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjSl1KCkVAMOOficAa2GE-tVjMQAV0ZrI5dTe6wCP5dgAFG2Yd-AW4a_L3FFy82cl6d2_CdJ8mNjX1KHZXvtdNsKrgtmZsJNQ1sr1Tm_S95YZw2D4JHNiaY0U2emwIvaW_wTy-FaT-ZlSK/s640/wk25.2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I really like them on this ampersand card and I tried to move it to where the title should be but it just wouldn't work. I am still really happy with how it turned out even though it is different from all of my other pages.<br />
The black and white polka dot paper is included in the Main kit and this is the paper that just finished this spread. I love it!<br />
<br />

<br />
Usually my pages have a lot more color but I'm loving all of the white!<br />
<br />

<br />
How cute is this wood veneer?! I couldn't leave this card blank so I went through the wood veneers from this month and this one was just perfect.<br />

I love these letter stickers! They are by far my favorite letter stickers and I want to use them on everything.<br />
I hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do and I hope you all have a wonderful day!<br />

I'm sure most of you have heard of pocket letters by now but I didn't really understand what they were until recently. I understood the basic concept of them but that was it. I started watching videos on YouTube about pocket letters and what kind of things to include and thought I should just go ahead and try it! Also, there is a video at the end which gives you a better look at the pocket letters.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdNzOCNmNY527zkKFNUsiSKTuHf-bJLHFISrEMrm0wERa3OYYu-ps9IoMjq73gdAgGvS4WZgFKHpm-ZsRpjHVELA_txK5w2-zRfRIgmcjJjfo15Qy-sI6SfNGtbC8w24KV3u_G0IbJ97FX/s1600/pocketletter1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="622" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdNzOCNmNY527zkKFNUsiSKTuHf-bJLHFISrEMrm0wERa3OYYu-ps9IoMjq73gdAgGvS4WZgFKHpm-ZsRpjHVELA_txK5w2-zRfRIgmcjJjfo15Qy-sI6SfNGtbC8w24KV3u_G0IbJ97FX/s640/pocketletter1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The traditional way of doing pocket letters is to use an 8.5x11 page protectors which hold 9 2.5"x3.5" cards. I decided to use regular Project Life page protectors because it was what I had and it also makes more sense to send something the right size for using in Project Life.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRWQiv8-8vGPO9gWzx7MjUuyeuyVeY8r9-aWRYOqMvppmWwqq93pJSWTE72Z-oNumvg2ZMJ-biQ4BvFbkNiJ4z3tMbAjfvClTQu205FBO68uLsctJJvIKe8iXQb_p4xAVqyEdxETfOxKdj/s1600/pocketletter2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="616" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRWQiv8-8vGPO9gWzx7MjUuyeuyVeY8r9-aWRYOqMvppmWwqq93pJSWTE72Z-oNumvg2ZMJ-biQ4BvFbkNiJ4z3tMbAjfvClTQu205FBO68uLsctJJvIKe8iXQb_p4xAVqyEdxETfOxKdj/s640/pocketletter2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Most of the cards I used are Studio Calico because I have so many. Quite a few of the embellishments are from there as well. I also used some cards and embellishments I have received through Gossamer Blue. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgynkFgKPAoWAuKEWm0cL8oLrMxxW2QVSlBdesVAqStqSx9jzWZSVn4SdtBH6FqN8IRX80OdvpsZ0MxK6PZ4cLrX7-BZSrmo1JJe6WQvpw_wpTVVYR1TdvQvAoXLgMoO_Fb2SBih6Yby9kX/s1600/pocketletter3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgynkFgKPAoWAuKEWm0cL8oLrMxxW2QVSlBdesVAqStqSx9jzWZSVn4SdtBH6FqN8IRX80OdvpsZ0MxK6PZ4cLrX7-BZSrmo1JJe6WQvpw_wpTVVYR1TdvQvAoXLgMoO_Fb2SBih6Yby9kX/s640/pocketletter3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I tried to give hints as to what was behind each card so for example I put enamel dots on the card which had enamel dots behind it. There are also a couple of pockets which don't have cards and only embellishments and I did that because either the embellishments were too bulky or because I liked the way it looked.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-tbZW_-rUywGaL3Ev7FlNo6HQAgb_fe6zyhk-EHOG9J5_RmGV0CAWnziNcm9uRiR-zQClMCH-mUqVMAyOvA4djt8zsFBwIEk0XYk4mBL6FprkzG1pL1RnQSGLMhEbKzGYuwxOCcF37bgA/s1600/pocketletter4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-tbZW_-rUywGaL3Ev7FlNo6HQAgb_fe6zyhk-EHOG9J5_RmGV0CAWnziNcm9uRiR-zQClMCH-mUqVMAyOvA4djt8zsFBwIEk0XYk4mBL6FprkzG1pL1RnQSGLMhEbKzGYuwxOCcF37bgA/s640/pocketletter4.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
From what I've seen from videos, I was quite generous when it came to putting things in the pockets but I have also seen people put almost nothing in the pockets! You can add whatever you are comfortable with but also make sure you are being fair.<br />
<br />

Here is a video showing some close ups and explaining what is in my pocket letters.<br />

It's my favorite day of the month, reveal day! I love being able to finally share my projects with all of you. Today I am sharing two scrapbook pages I have created with the September Gossamer Blue kits. These kits are so gorgeous, I have been having so much fun playing with them. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Grid layouts are one of my favorite ways to create scrapbook pages because of their simplicity. This page turned out completely the opposite of what I originally planned, but I really love it. For the layers behind the photo and 3x4 card, I used the 6x6 Crate Paper Wonder paper pad included in the Bits & Pieces kit. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Both this bow acetate card and the red acetate "beautiful" card are from the Pinkfresh Studio Acetate cards included in the Life Pages Add-On #3 kit. I dressed up this bow card with a really adorable wood veneer and a couple of enamel dots. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the photo, I wanted to keep the embellishments really simple so I used puffy sticker from both the Happy Things and Wonder collections. </div>

<br />
<br />
Here I have a very simple page which showcases the Crate Paper die cut phrases. I love how large the "cute" is and it is definitely true about Clara! ;) I have been a bit obsessed with scrapbooking Clara lately but she is too cute not to scrap!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQaQqGBHk1Vam7FuGr_4xjT0E5CxNh67ldZOtAvd-chNPnxzWxrIsXX_lHd35klF3RYD3qsBu24r0innUyb7hEtpXoURofbgKfGcS9hOiZklMdrwIEZudriuBc449mDrccwDeAUzjOn47r/s1600/cute2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQaQqGBHk1Vam7FuGr_4xjT0E5CxNh67ldZOtAvd-chNPnxzWxrIsXX_lHd35klF3RYD3qsBu24r0innUyb7hEtpXoURofbgKfGcS9hOiZklMdrwIEZudriuBc449mDrccwDeAUzjOn47r/s640/cute2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also got this "good life" label and stapled it on just for a little something extra.<br />
